Nintendo Switch 2 Console

Nintendo's latest console generation has arrived. The Nintendo Switch 2 builds on the original hybrid formula with a bigger 1080p handheld display, support for up to 4K on a compatible TV, HDR, VRR, 120fps capability and the brand-new Joy-Con 2 controllers, complete with mouse-style control options. It also works with your existing Switch game library.

Jump into fresh exclusives such as Mario Kart World, or revisit compatible titles from your current Nintendo Switch collection on upgraded hardware.

In handheld mode, the expanded 1080p screen helps games look sharper and more vivid. When docked, the system can output up to 4K resolution, with HDR, VRR and frame rates of up to 120fps delivering smoother movement, richer colour and clearer detail.

The redesigned Joy-Con 2 controllers attach using magnetic connectors and can double as a mouse in supported games. There’s also GameChat, which lets you talk to friends using the C Button, share your gameplay live, or go face-to-face with the Nintendo Switch 2 camera, sold separately.

Please note that some Nintendo Switch games may not be compatible, or may not be fully supported, on Nintendo Switch 2. For 4K output, both the TV and the game need 4K support; at that resolution, frame rates are limited to 60fps. GameChat and online features require an internet connection, a Nintendo Account and a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
